Dutch veteran Fabian Wilnis says he has not been offered a testimonial by the Blues, despite a Dutch report claiming he had been given a game as part of his new one-year deal. Wilnis has now signed his new contract.

A late Danny Haynes penalty won Town a 2-1 victory over Derby in a pulsating game at Portman Road. Matt Oakley put the Rams ahead prior to the dismissals of Alex Bruce and Derby keeper Stephen Bywater, but Town were on top throughout and Franny Jeffers equalised before Haynes's late spotkick.

A last-gasp goal handed the Blues a 1-0 defeat for the second away game in succession. Town had largely been the better side and ought to have been in front but it was Barnsley who took the points courtesy of Grant McCann's debut goal in injury time.
